RedHen Labs vs Adspert
AI bidding priced by a share of your ad sales. Here's how they compare for Amazon PPC management.
Adspert is AI bid-management software for Amazon, eBay and Walmart ads ("Adspert turns your ad spend into profit, without the manual grind"), part of Mirakl since December 2024. It prices by results: "we base our pricing on optimized ad sales instead of ad spend." Essential is $109 a month plus a commission on the ad sales of the campaigns it optimizes, 1.7% up to $17,600 a month and falling to 0.5% at the top, with a 30-day free trial. RedHen Labs is $129 a month flat.
RedHen Labs is a focused Amazon advertising management platform with built-in profitability tracking. At a flat $19 to $129 a month β never a percentage of ad spend β it gives mid-tier sellers the automation and visibility that used to require enterprise tools or agencies.

A share of your ad sales, on top of the plan
Adspert charges on what your ads sell: Essential is $109 a month plus 1.7% of attributed ad sales up to $17,600 a month, 1.5% up to $49,500 and 1.2% up to $99,000, applied to the whole amount. At $25,000 of ad sales that's $484 a month; at $50,000, $709. RedHen Labs is $129 a month at any sales level, and a good month never raises it.
Bids set by the algorithm, or bids you approve
Adspert's AI sets bids once a day, and if you change one by hand, "Adspert will recalculate the optimal bid β¦ overriding your manual input." Its new keywords and ASINs, by contrast, default to "Review" for your approval. RedHen Labs puts bid changes through that same review step by default, with one-click undo, and lets you hand them over when you're ready.
When Adspert is the better pick
If you sell on eBay or Walmart as well as Amazon, or want Google and Microsoft Ads optimized in the same tool (on its Scale and Pro plans), Adspert covers that. It also supports more than 20 Amazon marketplaces and Vendor and KDP accounts, and switches into a special mode for events like Prime Day by itself.
What youβd pay at your ad sales
| Monthly ad sales | Adspert (Essential) | RedHen (Professional) | With RedHen, a month | With RedHen, a year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $194 | $129 | $65 less | $780 less |
| $10,000 | $279 | $129 | $150 less | $1,800 less |
| $25,000 | $484 | $129 | $355 less | $4,260 less |
| $50,000 | $709 | $129 | $580 less | $6,960 less |
What each includes. Adspert: Essential has AI bidding that sets bids once a day, intraday bid scheduling, keyword and ASIN harvesting (reviewed first by default), budget suggestions and alerts, across Amazon, eBay and Walmart ads; profit-based bidding with your COGS and custom keyword rules start on Scale. RedHen Labs Professional: everything in Growth, plus the rule engine β bid rules, keyword harvesting and negative keyword automation, budget and placement automations, dayparting β and the plain-English AI assistant.
How itβs calculated. On its US-dollar tab, Essential is "$109 + %" a month: the commission is a share of the month's attributed ad sales, 1.7% up to $17,600, 1.5% up to $49,500, 1.2% up to $99,000 and lower above, charged on the whole amount, as its own examples show ("1.5% of β¬20,000 = β¬300"). Organic sales aren't counted. Yearly plans take 15% off; VAT is added where it applies. Ad sales means the sales your ads bring in. Source: adspert.net, checked October 31, 2026. RedHenβs figure is the Professional planβs monthly price, the same at any ad sales ($110.08 a month billed yearly). AI assistant: $20 of usage included each month, and it stops at $50 unless you raise the limit.

How RedHen is different
Adspert's AI "automatically changes bids once per day" and overrides a bid you set by hand at its next cycle, while new keywords wait on a "Review" page by default. RedHen Labs treats bids the way Adspert treats new keywords: they wait for your approval unless you switch them on.
- Rules first, AI as the advisor. Rules settle the clear-cut calls, and the AI suggests changes inside hard limits. Auto-apply is off by default; switched on, the AI can only nudge bids.
- It waits when the data is thin. RedHen wonβt cut a bid on too little data. It looks again next cycle instead of guessing.
- The same flat fee at any spend. $19, $69 or $129 a month, whatever you spend on ads.
- You approve, and one click undoes it. Changes wait for your approval unless you choose otherwise, and each one is logged with a one-click undo.
Why we donβt charge more
We could charge more. We donβt, and it isnβt because this is a lighter product β itβs because itβs a focused one. We built the things an Amazon seller actually touches every week and left out the twenty modules that pad a suite. A focused product costs less to build and less to run, so it can cost less to buy.
The other reason is simpler. By the time a seller has paid referral fees, fulfillment, storage, returns, and advertising, a lot of hands have already been in the till β and then an agency wants a percentage of sales and a tool wants a percentage of spend. The person who designed the product, paid for the inventory, and carries every bit of the risk ends up with the thinnest slice of it. We decided not to be one more toll on that road. $129 is a number we can hold at any account size, which means growing your business never costs you more to keep using ours.
Questions sellers ask about Adspert
How much does Adspert cost?
On its US-dollar prices, Essential is $109 a month, Scale $549 and Pro $1,099, each plus a commission on ad sales: 1.7% up to $17,600 a month, then lower in bands down to 0.5%. Yearly plans take 15% off, and Essential has a 30-day free trial. (As published on adspert.net, checked October 31, 2026.)
Is Adspert's commission on ad spend or ad sales?
On ad sales: "we base our pricing on optimized ad sales instead of ad spend." It counts the attributed sales of the marketplace campaigns it optimizes; on Scale and Pro, Google and Microsoft Ads are charged 5% of the spend it optimizes. RedHen Labs charges neither: $129 a month flat.
What would Adspert cost at my ad sales?
At $5,000 a month of ad sales, Essential comes to $194; at $10,000, $279; at $25,000, $484; and at $50,000, $709. RedHen Labs Professional is $129 at each of those sales levels.
Will RedHen Labs override bids I set myself?
No. A bid you set stays where you put it until you approve a change to it, or switch on an automation that's allowed to change it by itself. Every change RedHen Labs makes is logged with a one-click undo.
Should AI set my bids every day without asking?
Adspert's does: it "automatically changes bids once per day" and recalculates over any bid you set yourself. Its own default for new keywords is the opposite (they wait for review), and we'd extend that to bids. AI is bad at Amazon PPC when it runs unchecked: it optimizes to the target it's given, not to the product you're about to discontinue. In RedHen Labs, AI is one of the tools, next to rules and harvesting, and it proposes, you approve.
When is Adspert the better pick?
If you advertise on eBay or Walmart as well as Amazon, or want Google and Microsoft Ads in the same tool, Adspert covers them; RedHen Labs is Amazon only. It also works in more than 20 Amazon marketplaces and with Vendor and KDP accounts, and the company was founded in 2010.
