RedHen Labs vs Helium 10
Helium 10 sells a research and listing suite on its cheaper plans, and its ad platform on the expensive one. Their ad tool — renamed from Adtomic to Helium 10 Ads in 2025 — requires the Diamond plan at $359 per month billed monthly. On top of that, their pricing page states that "Diamond plan customers incur a 2% management fee on PPC spend managed through Helium 10 Ads," with no spend threshold listed. RedHen Labs is $129 a month flat and never charges a percentage of ad spend.
Compare the ad platform, not the suite
It is worth being precise about what compares to what. Helium 10's cheaper plans are a research and listing suite — keyword tools, product research, listing optimization. That is a different job from this one, and it is not what this page is about. The comparable product is Helium 10 Ads, and it sits behind the Diamond plan at $359 a month plus 2% of the spend it manages. They price ad management as their premium product, which is a fair reading of how valuable it is. We sell that same job for $129 a month flat, and we do not take a percentage of what you spend doing it.
Why a percentage of ad spend is different from a fee
A flat fee is a cost. A percentage of ad spend is a tax on growth: every dollar you add to a campaign that is already profitable also raises your software bill. It is charged on spend rather than on results, so it costs the same whether that campaign made money or lost it. Scale up and you pay more for identical software.
What each costs at real ad spend
- At $5,000/mo ad spend — Helium 10 Diamond $459 ($359 + $100). RedHen Labs $129.
- At $10,000/mo ad spend — Helium 10 Diamond $559 ($359 + $200). RedHen Labs $129.
- At $25,000/mo ad spend — Helium 10 Diamond $859 ($359 + $500). RedHen Labs $129.
- At $50,000/mo ad spend — Helium 10 Diamond $1,359 ($359 + $1,000). RedHen Labs $129.
I paid this bill myself
Before building this, I paid a little over $300 a month for their top-tier plan plus a percentage of my ad spend on top, and I used it for campaign rules and little else. Paying a percentage of my own advertising to software that carried none of the risk is the month I stopped. I put six figures into building RedHen Labs on my own Amazon account before selling it to another seller, and the first rule set on day one was that we would never charge a percentage of ad spend — not as a promotion, as a permanent term.

Why we don't charge more
We could charge more. We don't, and it isn't because this is a lighter product — it's because it's a focused one. We built the things an Amazon seller actually touches every week and left out the twenty modules that pad a suite. A focused product costs less to build and less to run, so it can cost less to buy.
The other reason is simpler. By the time a seller has paid referral fees, fulfillment, storage, returns, and advertising, a lot of hands have already been in the till — and then an agency wants a percentage of sales and a tool wants a percentage of spend. The person who designed the product, paid for the inventory, and carries every bit of the risk ends up with the thinnest slice of it. We decided not to be one more toll on that road. $129 is a number we can hold at any account size, which means growing your business never costs you more to keep using ours.
